Polri's Traffic Corps holds cordial reception with detikcom to strengthen synergy and collaboration

The event was attended by CT Corp chair Charul Tanjung (CT), Detikcom’s Chief Executive Abdul Aziz, and Detikcom’s Editor-in-Chief Ardhi Suryadhi. Meanwhile, Kakorlantas Polri was accompanied by senior officials (PJU) of Korlantas Polri, heads of subdivisions, and district coordinators up to central heads. Also present were Korlantas Polri partners and distinguished guests, including the online motorcycle taxi community (ojol) from Jambi.

The warm atmosphere was immediately evident from the opening, hosted by DetikPagi presenters Ario Astungkoro and Indi Arisa. The presence of L-Bhara Band enlivened the evening with songs related to safety campaigns and other popular tunes. The band members are Korlantas Polri personnel, namely Brigadir Putri, Brigadir Putu, Briptu Mercy, Briptu Anyn, and Briptu Ecklesia.

During the agenda, Irjen Agus presented CT with a certificate of appreciation and a commemorative plaque as a sign of close synergy and collaboration. Irjen Agus likewise received a detikcom commemorative plaque from CT.

In his remarks, Kakorlantas Polri Irjen Agus Suryonugroho expressed deep gratitude and appreciation to CT Corp and detikcom for backing Korlantas Polri’s major agendas, including Operation Ketupat 2026, which was carried out successfully.

“Media is not only a partner, but media is a brother in our struggle to provide hope and clear information to the public,” said Irjen Agus.

Kakorlantas stressed that the media plays a crucial role in safeguarding the five major operations of Korlantas Polri. These five major operations are Traffic Safety Operation, Ketupat Operation, Patuh Operation, Zebra Operation, and Nataru Operation. He noted that the media’s massive and positive coverage has proven to be one of the main indicators of success in the field, including Ketupat Operation 2026, which has just concluded.

Facing the upcoming Patuh Operation, Irjen Agus stated that Korlantas Polri will continue to uphold firm law enforcement to curb traffic accidents, while also balancing it with a humane approach. All actions are driven by the primary objective of public safety.

Irjen Agus emphasised that Korlantas Polri will continue to engage all elements of society, including the ojol community, which has now been regarded as a friend of the Polri in maintaining road safety. He will continue to energise the Polantas Menyapa and Melayani programme in accordance with the directions of the Kapolri, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo.

“So our success indicator is how close we are to the people and how close we can partner with the media,” Irjen Agus said.
