Indonesia’s National Police (Polri) Operations Staff from Police Headquarters conducted direct inspections of two vital points on the Puncak route, Bogor Regency, West Java. The inspections were conducted to ensure maximum security readiness for the Lebaran holiday under the 2026 Ketupat Operation.

The Polri Operations Staff conducted direct inspections of two vital points on the Puncak route on Saturday, 14 March 2026. These two vital points were the General Hoegeng Gadog Unified Command Post and the Gunung Mas Service Point.

The operational visit in the framework of the 2026 Ketupat Operation supervision was led by the Head of Operations at Police Headquarters Brigadier General Auliansyah Lubis and the Chief of Policy Formulation at Police Headquarters First Class Brigadier General Tri Atmodjo. The delegation was accompanied directly by Bogor Police Chief Senior Commissioner Wikha Ardilestanto along with Bogor Police’s senior officials.

Inspection at the General Hoegeng Gadog Unified Post

The first location visited was the General Hoegeng Gadog Unified Command Post. At this location, the Operations Staff team inspected the K3I control centre and innovations in public service facilities featuring the unique theme “Middle East Aladdin”. The readiness of combined personnel from Bogor Police, Traffic Corps units, and Mobile Brigade units from Police Headquarters also became the focus of the inspection to ensure rapid response to traffic flow dynamics.

Inspection of Gunung Mas Service Point

Subsequently, the delegation moved towards the Gunung Mas Service Point. At this location, the inspection focused on optimising the rest area as a transit point for vehicles during one-way traffic engineering measures. The Operations Staff appreciated Bogor Police’s efforts in integrating traffic flow improvements with support for local micro, small and medium enterprises in the area.

“Inspections at these two strategic locations are very important because Gadog and Gunung Mas are key to managing traffic flow on the Puncak route. We ensure all support facilities and personnel are in a state of readiness to provide security for holiday travellers and tourists,” said Bogor Police Chief Senior Commissioner Wikha Ardilestanto.

Overall, the Operations Staff team gave a positive assessment of the infrastructure readiness and operational management being carried out by Bogor Police. Coordination between the command centre at Gadog and the service point at Gunung Mas is expected to maintain public order and road traffic safety during the 2026 Ketupat Operation period.
