Jakarta (ANTARA) - Polri has transported 4,009 participants in the “Mudik Gratis Polri Presisi 2026” programme, supported by the presence of Jasa Raharja in synergy to promote protection and safety for returnees during their journeys.

Chief of Police General Listyo Sigit Prabowo stated that the entire departure process was conducted to ensure safety and health aspects for drivers and passengers through checks in accordance with procedures.

“Before we dispatch them, we certainly carry out SOP (standard operating procedures) to ensure that the journey, especially the drivers, is in good health,” said Listyo based on his statement on Thursday.

The programme is part of cross-sector collaboration between the Police, ministries, and related institutions to provide safe and comfortable return services for the public ahead of Eid al-Fitr 2026.

The Police conducted checks ranging from urine tests, alcohol tests, to the use of drugs that could potentially endanger returnees before departure.

“The Health Minister also directly witnessed it earlier,” he said.

The release event took place at the Polda Metro Jaya field in Jakarta on Wednesday (18/3), led by the Chief of Police.

Ariyandi conveyed that Jasa Raharja’s presence in the event is a form of support for the government and Police initiatives in providing protection for the public during the Eid return and return flows.

“As a state-owned enterprise that carries out the state’s mandate in providing basic protection through accident insurance, Jasa Raharja strongly supports various collaborative initiatives such as the Mudik Gratis Polri Presisi 2026 programme,” said Ariyandi.

He added that synergy between Polri, ministries, and various state-owned enterprises is key to ensuring the public can undertake return journeys more safely and comfortably.

Therefore, he continued, the free return programme is considered an important part in creating a safer and more orderly transportation system.

“We continue to strengthen coordination with various parties so that protection for the public can run optimally. Our principle is to provide responsive services so that the presence of the state is truly felt by the public,” said Ariyandi.

Furthermore, he hopes that through synergy between the Police, related ministries, and various institutions including Jasa Raharja, this year’s return organisation can run more safely, orderly, and smoothly.
