Polri Strengthens Digitalisation of Public Services Through Korlantas Innovations

The Deputy Chief of Police, Inspector General of Police Dedi Prasetyo, opened the Technical Working Meeting (Rakernis) for the Traffic Function of 2026 at the PTIK Auditorium in Jakarta on Friday, 22 May 2026. The digital transformation developed by the Traffic Corps (Korlantas Polri) through ETLE Drone, ETLE Face Recognition, SIM Digital and real-time data-based service integration has become one of Polri’s concrete responses to recommendations by the Commission for the Acceleration of Police Reform (KPRP), particularly in strengthening governance, transparency of public services, supervision, digitalisation and prevention of irregularities in police services. The Deputy Chief of Police said reform must be realised in service systems that are more transparent, rapid, accountable and easily accessible to the public, not merely regulatory changes. Reform recommendations should not stop at documents; the public must feel real changes in Polri’s public services. Polri continues to expand digitalisation of national services. In addition to ETLE and SIM Digital, Korlantas has strengthened digital-based services through SIGNAL (Samsat Digital Nasional) integrated with 1,324 Samsat or 93.7 percent nationwide, SINAR (SIM Nasional Presisi) connected with 153 Satpas, 783,858 E‑BPKB issuances, strengthening NTMC, 31 RTMC, and 25 TMC for real-time traffic management, development of Body Worn Cameras to enhance personnel accountability, and integration of CCTV and Artificial Intelligence (AI) in traffic management.
