Polri Promotes Prosperity for PNPP Through Housing Programme and Land Grants in Sultra
The Indonesian National Police (Polri) handed over subsidised housing for Civil Servants of the Police (PNPP) in Kolaka, Southeast Sulawesi (Sultra). A total of 378 type-36 subsidised housing units were delivered.
“Fulfilling housing needs for PNPP is a form of Polri’s commitment to improving the welfare of its members,” said Deputy Chief of Police Komjen Dedi Prasetyo at Jalan Poros Kolaka Kendari, Sabilambo, Kolaka Subdistrict, Kolaka, Sultra, on Tuesday (21/4/2026).
Komjen Dedi hopes that the PNPP will be increasingly motivated to enhance their performance and the quality of services to the public. “With decent housing, members are expected to be more focused in carrying out their duties and providing the best service to the community,” he added.
Komjen Dedi handed over the subsidised housing as well as land grants for the construction of Brimob operational facilities in the Sultra Police Region (Polda Sultra) area. He stated that this programme is a tangible manifestation of Polri’s attention to meeting the basic needs of its members.
The details of the distributed housing include:
Kalifah Residence, South Konawe: 186 units
Sultra Hills Residence, Kendari City: 28 units
Kaba Residence, Kendari City: 164 units
This event was also accompanied by the handover of land grants for the construction of the Brimob Unit Headquarters of Polda Sultra. The details of the land grants are as follows:
Kolaka Regency: 10 hectares from PT IPIP in Lamedai Village, Tanggetada Subdistrict (Headquarters of Battalion C Pelopor Company C)
Konawe Regency: 8 hectares from the Konawe Regional Government in Silea Village, Onembute Subdistrict (Headquarters of Company 3 Battalion C Pelopor)
Central Buton Regency: 10 hectares from the Central Buton Regional Government in Wakabanguna Village, Mawasangka Subdistrict (Headquarters of Company 3 Battalion B Pelopor)
As a form of care for the community, Polri also distributed social assistance in the form of 1,050 staple food packages and 33 school supply packages. “The welfare of members is a long-term investment for the quality of Polri’s services. Synergy with all stakeholders in the region will continue to be enhanced to support increasingly optimal task implementation,” he concluded.
