The Banten Regional Police (Polda Banten) have announced that the construction of the Merah Putih Presisi Bridge, located in Kampung Sadea, Pasirbuyut Village, Serang Regency, is now complete, providing enhanced mobility and economic access for local residents.

The Head of Public Relations for Polda Banten, Kombes Pol. Maruli Ahiles Hutapea, stated in Serang on Monday that this 100% completed infrastructure project is part of the implementation of the ‘Polri Presisi’ programme, designed to provide tangible solutions to community needs.

“This Merah Putih Presisi Bridge is not merely a connecting facility, but also a symbol of the state’s presence through the National Police to address the needs of the people,” said Maruli. He expressed hope that the bridge would ease access to education for children, smooth agricultural distribution routes, and improve public safety during daily activities.

Prior to the bridge’s completion, residents of Kampung Sadea frequently faced accessibility challenges. These difficulties were directly felt by students commuting to school and farmers struggling to transport their harvests.

“Now, the completion of the bridge has been met with great gratitude by the residents. The presence of this public facility is seen to have a significant positive impact on accelerating economic circulation and social activities within the rural community,” he added. Through this spirit of togetherness, it is hoped that the bridge will be maintained and utilised sustainably, serving as a symbol of the synergy between the National Police and the community in building a more advanced, safe, and prosperous Serang Regency.
