Polri Personnel Shuffle: Adex Yudiswan Appointed as Director of Cybercrime Investigation at National Police Criminal Investigation Agency
JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - Brigadier General of Police Adex Yudiswan has been transferred to become the Director of Cybercrime Investigation (Dirtipidsiber) at the National Police Criminal Investigation Agency (Bareskrim Polri) to replace Brigadier General of Police Himawan Bayu Aji.
This transfer is outlined in the Chief of National Police Telegram Letter Number: ST/960/V/KEP./2026 dated 7 May 2026.
“Brigadier General of Police Adex Yudiswan, a graduate of the Police Academy, has been appointed to the new position as Dirtipidsiber Bareskrim Polri,” as quoted from the official statement of Polri on Saturday (9/5/2026).
Meanwhile, Himawan Bayu Aji has been transferred to become the Chief of Police for Southeast Sulawesi (Sultra) to replace Inspector General of Police Didik Agung Widjanarko, who has been reassigned as a senior officer at the Sultra Provincial Police.
“Transfers and rotations of positions are a natural aspect of the Polri organisation. This forms part of career development, organisational refreshment, and efforts to enhance the professionalism of personnel in facing increasingly dynamic challenges,” stated the Head of the Public Relations Division of Polri, Inspector General of Police Johnny Eddizon Isir, in his statement on Saturday.
A total of 108 senior officers and mid-level officers have undergone transfers and rotations on this occasion.
This includes nine provincial police chiefs and several police chiefs in major cities.
Additionally, Polri has recorded promotions for 16 personnel to the rank of Inspector General of Police, three personnel have received flat positions at the Inspector General of Police level, 43 personnel promoted to Brigadier General of Police, and 16 personnel promoted to Commissioner of Police with details of level II B1 for 12 personnel, level II B2 for three personnel, and level II B3 for one personnel.
