Age Limits for 2026 Police Recruitment:
For secondary school (SMA/equivalent) graduates, the minimum age is 18 years and maximum age is 21 years at the start of police education. For bachelor’s degree (S1) graduates, the maximum age can reach 27 years depending on the pathway selected.
Colour Blindness and Vision Standards:
Polri maintains strict eye health standards. For the Officer Cadet and Mobile Brigade (Brimob) pathways, vision must be normal (0 diopters). For certain Non-Commissioned Officer positions, there is a maximum tolerance for myopia in accordance with the latest guidelines set out in the Kapolri’s Directional Instructions (Jukrah).
NIK Registration Issues:
If the National Identification Number (NIK) is not registered during online registration, applicants should immediately coordinate with the local Civil Registry Office (Dukcapil) to synchronise NIK and family card number data so that it is readable by the Polri online registration system.
