Pollux Hotels has officially entered into a collaboration with PT Citas Otis Elevator (OTIS) through the appointment of OTIS as lift partner for the Fraser Residence project, in developing vertical transport infrastructure that prioritises safety, comfort, reliability and technology.

“We hope this cooperation can become a long-term partnership in the development of new properties as well as in the modernisation and improvement of our existing properties,” said Pollux Hotels President Commissioner Teny Siti Febriyani in Jakarta on Saturday.

She said the appointment of OTIS for the Fraser Residence project is part of Pollux Hotels’ commitment to delivering infrastructure quality that supports safety and comfort standards for residents.

“Fraser Residence is expected to provide a safe, comfortable and high-quality living experience,” she said.

Meanwhile, President Director of PT Citas Otis Elevator Joseph Hasnan said he was proud to be part of the Fraser Residence development together with Pollux Hotels.

He explained that OTIS is one of the world’s largest lift companies with a long history in the vertical transport industry.

He said OTIS was established in 1853 and is known as a pioneer in the development of safety lifts, having been part of various iconic buildings around the world, including the Burj Khalifa, the Eiffel Tower and the Petronas Twin Towers.

“With more than a century of experience, OTIS continues to develop lift technology and solutions that prioritise safety, reliability and innovation,” he said.

He added that there is alignment between the visions of OTIS and Pollux Hotels, so it is hoped this collaboration can develop into a long-term partnership.

“We see that the visions of OTIS and Pollux have good alignment. We hope this cooperation can become a long-term partnership and provide positive value for both companies,” he said.

Meanwhile, Director of Business Development for Frasers Hospitality Efendy Susanto emphasised the importance of infrastructure quality and reliable partners in supporting the experience of residents and guests.

“The appointment of OTIS as lift partner for Fraser Residence is the first step in a strategic relationship between Pollux Hotels and OTIS Elevator,” he said.

Going forward, he continued, this cooperation is expected to continue to grow, not only in supporting the Fraser Residence project, but also opening up opportunities for collaboration in the development of new properties as well as the modernisation and improvement of Pollux Hotels’ existing properties.

He said Pollux Hotels and OTIS are optimistic about delivering vertical transport solutions that support the safety, comfort and quality standards required by modern properties.

“We hope this cooperation creates a long-term partnership that provides positive value for both companies,” he said.
