Politics this week: Sudaryono appointed BGN head, University of Indonesia explained

President Prabowo Subianto inaugurated Sudaryono as the Head of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) at the State Palace in Jakarta on Wednesday afternoon. The Ministry of Defence announced that construction of port facilities for the aircraft carrier Giuseppe Garibaldi in Teluk Ratai, Lampung, has reached 76 percent completion. Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi stated that the University of the Republic of Indonesia institution is being prepared to cultivate future national leaders by adopting leadership education models implemented in several countries. President Prabowo Subianto urged young TNI and Polri officers to be vigilant against evolving threats to Indonesia, including cyber warfare, by mastering science, technology, and artificial intelligence. The Presidential Palace affirmed it will not intervene in the legal process concerning the alleged corruption case involving former Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes, Febrie Adriansyah.
