Politicians in confusion

During this transitional period, which will end when Susilo
Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) is installed as president, many
politicians have become concerned about finding safe places to
hide.

It is generally known that SBY is a figure whose course of
political thinking has yet to be identified. We can only pray he
will remain true to his words.

If this is so, then the first 100 days of his administration
will be devoted to law enforcement -- and this will be a serious
threat to our politicians. It is public knowledge that corruption
practices involving the state's funds begin with these people.

So now, rather than allowing SBY and Jusuf Kalla to herd them
into courts of justice, these politicians may pretend to show
their goodwill by pointing out dens of corruption. In fact, it
may well be the case of a thief calling thief.
