Former Indonesian Defence Minister (2014-2019) Ryamizard Ryacudu passed away at Gatot Soebroto Army Central Hospital (RSPAD) in Jakarta on Sunday. Colonel Rico Ricardo Sirait, Head of the Defence Information Bureau at the Ministry of Defence’s Secretariat, confirmed Ryamizard’s death at 2:03 PM WIB following treatment in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU) at RSPAD.

Government Communication Bureau (Bakom) Chief Muhammad Qodari confirmed President Prabowo Subianto’s sole official foreign visit this week is to France. “There was never a statement from the Indonesian government that the President would visit Italy. Secondly, the official schedule is only for France,” Qodari said in Jakarta on Sunday.
