Polish PM in Bali
JAKARTA: Polish Prime Minister Wlodzimierz Cimoszewicz arrived
in Denpasar, Bali, yesterday at the start of a three-day visit.
He was met at the airport by Bali Governor Ida Bagus Oka,
Chief of the Udayana Military Command Maj. Gen. A. Rivai, and
other senior local officials.
Today, Cimoszewicz, who became prime minister on Feb. 1, will
fly to Jakarta to officially begin the state visit.
His entourage includes a group of Polish businessmen who will
meet with Indonesian businessmen under the sponsorship of the
Indonesian Chamber of Trade and Commerce (KADIN).
Cimoszewicz will leave on Wednesday to continue with his Asian
tour to Malaysia and later Thailand. (rms)
