Police yet to identify mutilated body

CIREBON, West Java: Police authorities in Cirebon, West Java,
have yet to identify a mutilated body found last Thursday,

"We have had a hard time identifying the body, so we have not
yet been able to reveal who killed the man," Cirebon Police chief
Adj. Comr. Siswandi said.

He, however, added the man might had been killed in a fight
between rival gangs.

"Based on the tattoos found on the man's mutilated body, we
believe that the man was killed in a gang war," Siswandi said.

Body parts were found on a beach on Thursday evening, two days
after other parts of the same body were discovered under a bridge
on Jl. Cipto Mangunkusumo.

The body bore dragon and sun tattoos on the right foot and a
scorpion on the left foot, dragon feet on the right hand and the
tail of a dragon on the left hand. --JP
