Police Uncover Tramadol Distribution Ring in Bogor, Seize Airsoft Gun

Police have arrested a man for the illegal distribution of prescription drugs in the Gunung Putri district of Bogor, West Java. The suspect, identified by the initials YS, was apprehended along with evidence including thousands of pills and an unlicensed airsoft gun.

“The Gunung Putri Police force successfully uncovered a suspected illegal distribution of certain potent drugs in the Cikeas Udik village area by detaining a suspect with the initials YS,” said Gunung Putri Police Chief Kompol Hillal Adi Imawan on Wednesday (22/7/2026).

He stated that a number of items were seized during the arrest. These included 485 Tramadol pills, 3,000 Hexymer pills, and Rp 2 million in cash, which is suspected to be proceeds from the illegal sale of the drugs.

During a search at the time of the arrest, police also confiscated an unlicensed airsoft gun along with 150 pellets. Investigators are currently examining the suspect, and initial findings indicate he obtained the drugs from an individual who is now under investigation.

“Investigators are currently continuing to develop the case to uncover the supplier and the possibility of a wider distribution network,” he added. The suspect has been handed over to the Bogor Police Narcotics Unit for further legal processing.
