Police uncover new drug smuggling method by dumping meth into Belitung seas
Over the past month, the Bangka Belitung Islands Provincial Police have secured 46 kilograms of ownerless methamphetamine from the waters of Belitung Island, Bangka Belitung Province. The Head of Public Relations of the Bangka Belitung Police, Senior Commissioner Pol Agus Sugiyaro, in Pangkalpinang on Monday (30/3), stated that the discovery of this ownerless methamphetamine type floating in the waters of Belitung Island constitutes a new modus operandi for the covert circulation of narcotics in the area.
