Head of Narcotics Unit of North Jakarta Metropolitan Police, AKBP Ari Galang Saputra, explained that the perpetrators operated by disguising sales as convenience stores or cosmetic shops.

Regarding suspicions of a drug distribution network, Galang assured that they are delving deeper into the matter.

He emphasised that they will continue to investigate the existence of shops selling dangerous drugs that are still operating in the North Jakarta area.
