Police to take copyright course
SURABAYA, East Java: The government will organize copyright courses ahead of the implementation of copyright law No. 19/2002.
Minister of Justice and Human Rights Yusril Ihza Mahendra said Tuesday that police officers would be educated first, ahead of state prosecutors, justices and lawyers.
The law endorsed by the House of Representatives last year will take effect in July 2003.
Yusril added that police officers had taken a human rights course following legislation introduced in 1999. --Antara
