Police to return Oki's dossier
JAKARTA (JP): Police will soon return the corrected dossier on a triple murder case, allegedly committed by Harnoko Dewantono alias Oki, in Los Angeles.
City Police Spokesman Lt. Col. Iman Haryatna told reporters yesterday that the police have finished with the dossier and will submit it next week to the Prosecutor's Office, hopefully on Monday. But he did not reveal the detail of the correction.
Iman said police did not have intention to delayed the completion of Oki's dossier. He also said that Oki, if found guilty, will be jailed after his current jail term is completed. Oki is now serving 16-month jail term for passport forgery.
Oki was accused of killing his natural brother Tri Harto Darmawan (Eri), his female friend Gina Sutan Aswar and his Indian business colleague Suresh Michandani in Los Angeles in 1991 and 1992.
Their bodies were kept in a storage locker since May 1993 before being found by the Los Angeles police in August last year.
Iman said that the trial of the murder case may be started at the end of the year or next January. (05)
