The Indonesian National Police (Polri) continues to strengthen the quality of public services through the use of digital technology, one of which is the SuperApp Polri application, which now features an integrated 110 emergency service.

Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police, Inspector General Pol. Johnny Eddizon Isir, stated that the 110 service allows the public to communicate directly with the police when they need assistance or wish to convey information regarding situations requiring the presence of officers.

He explained that the 110 service has been deployed across all regional levels, including down to the sub-district police (Polsek) level. The SuperApp Polri can be downloaded via the Google Play Store on Android devices.

“With an integrated system, public reports or requests can be received and forwarded to the relevant units that have the authority and are closest to the area for immediate follow-up,” he said in a statement received in Jakarta on Monday.

The two-star general added that the use of technology in police services is also part of Polri’s efforts to build closer communication with the public.

According to him, the public is not only a recipient of services but also has the space to participate in maintaining security and order. “Every piece of information conveyed through Polri service channels is a form of public concern for the environment and shared security,” he said.

Polri continues to encourage all its ranks to provide a swift and professional response to every report received. The integration of services down to the Polsek level is expected to shorten response times and ensure that the public receives services from personnel closest to the incident location.

“Technology is not just about the application, but how that technology truly provides benefits to the public. The measure is when the public needs Polri, they know who to contact, it is easy to access, and they receive a fast response,” he concluded.
