Police are continuing their investigation into an assault case involving an employer identified by the initials OAP (37) against a domestic worker identified as FH (21) in Gunungputri, Bogor. Officers have summoned the suspect to appear on Monday, 23 February.

“The suspect has been summoned for Monday,” said Head of the Women and Children Protection Unit at Bogor Police, AKP Silfi Adi Putri, on Saturday (21/2/2026).

Silfi confirmed that the summons letter had already been issued, with the suspect expected to appear at 10:00 WIB.

“The letter has already been sent for Monday at 10:00 WIB,” she explained.

Previously, the employer OAP (37) was reported to Bogor Police for allegedly assaulting her domestic worker FH (21) in Gunungputri, Bogor Regency. The employer reportedly attacked the victim for turning off the stove while cooking.

“Based on the victim’s account, the incident occurred over a cooking matter. The perpetrator was cooking in the kitchen when the victim accidentally turned off the stove, causing the perpetrator to become angry and commit violence against the victim. That is according to the victim’s statement,” said AKP Silfi Adi Putri on Thursday (19/2).

Silfi said the victim was assaulted by being kicked and struck. The assault resulted in the victim sustaining injuries to the head, back and hands.

“The perpetrator committed physical violence against the complainant or victim, who is a domestic worker at the perpetrator’s residence, by means including kicking, pinching and punching,” Silfi said.

“As for the injuries documented in the forensic examination, they were found on the victim’s head, ears, hands and back,” she added.
