Police State That Stabbing Perpetrator Knew Nus Kei

Police state that the perpetrator of the stabbing knew Agrapinus Rumatora, alias Nus Kei (59), the Chairman of the Southeast Maluku Branch Executive Board (DPC) of the Golkar Party. In this case, the police have arrested two perpetrators, with initials HR (28) and FU (36). “Yes (the perpetrators knew the victim),” said the Head of Public Relations of the Maluku Regional Police, Commissioner Rositah Umasugi, when confirmed on Monday (20/4). Nevertheless, Rositah has not yet disclosed the relationship between the perpetrators and the victim. She only mentioned that from preliminary investigations, the motive is related to revenge. “The motive, based on examination results, is revenge,” she said. The Chairman of the DPC of the Golkar Party in Southeast Maluku, Maluku, Agrapinus Rumatora alias Nus Kei, passed away after becoming a stabbing victim at Karel Sadsuitubun Airport. The incident occurred in the airport area in Kei Kecil Subdistrict on Sunday (19/4) around 11:25 WIT. At the time of the incident, Nus Kei had just arrived after a flight from Jakarta. “The occurrence of a stabbing criminal act that resulted in the death of the Chairman of the DPC of the Golkar Party in Southeast Maluku Regency, Agrapinus Rumatora alias Nus Kei,” said Rositah. Rositah stated that during the incident, the perpetrator suddenly attacked the victim using a sharp weapon before fleeing from the scene. “Suddenly the victim was stabbed by an unknown person using a knife. The suspected perpetrator immediately fled after the incident,” she said. The victim was then taken to Karel Sadsuitubun Hospital around 12:00 WIT for medical treatment. However, his life could not be saved due to the wounds he suffered. “He was treated at the hospital, but the medical team declared the victim dead due to the wounds he sustained,” she said.
