Police State Cilegon Civil Servant Distributed Meth Outside Workplace

Police have stated that a Cilegon civil servant with the initials MA (45), arrested in a drug abuse case, holds the status of a distributor. The methamphetamine was distributed outside his work environment. The methamphetamine distribution carried out by MA was uncovered after he was arrested by officers from the Cilegon Police Narcotics Unit. Examination results revealed that MA claimed his customers were not from among fellow civil servants at the Cilegon City Government. “From the examination of suspect MA and the tracing of evidence, suspect MA distributed not within his work environment, but outside, not at his place of work,” said Cilegon Police Chief AKBP Martua Raja Silitonga on Monday (13/4/2026). From the suspect’s statements, police said MA has been an active drug user since 2004. A few years later, MA changed status to become a distributor. “Suspect MA acted as a distributor and portioned it out to be placed in several locations and then photographed, with the photos sent to buyers,” he said. The civil servant serving at the Cilegon Civil Service Police Unit, according to police, obtained the goods from an actor with initials B, who is now a wanted suspect. “The suspect obtained the evidence items from B, who is included in the wanted list by the Narcotics Unit,” he said.
