Police Set Up Complaint Post for Victims of Rape by Ponpes Founder in Pati

Deputy Head of Criminal Investigation at Pati Police Resort, AKP Iswantoro, stated that so far only one official report has been received by the police. He mentioned that previously there were five individuals with witness status. However, three of them have withdrawn their statements. “For the report, there is only one complainant from the victim’s father, and for the other victims at that time, five people were witnesses,” explained Iswantoro, as reported by detikJateng on Wednesday (6/5/2026). “But three of the witnesses have withdrawn their statements, which we reported yesterday,” he continued. The police are urging other victims who experienced similar incidents to report immediately. He said that they will set up a post at Pati Police Resort. “We urge the victims who experienced the same thing at the pesantren at that time to report to Pati Police Resort. We are ready to receive reports from victims or parents at Pati Police Resort,” he explained. “Regarding the establishment of the post at Pati Police Resort. Victims, even those from outside Pati who may have family who boarded at the pesantren and became victims, are invited to report to Pati Police Resort,” he added.
