Police Seize Rp476 Billion in Assets from Luxury Home in Sentul Raid
A luxury home in the Sentul area of Bogor Regency has drawn significant attention after investigators from the Police’s Corruption Eradication Corps (Kortastipidkor) conducted a raid. From the location, investigators seized various assets worth hundreds of billions of rupiah as part of an investigation into alleged corruption and money laundering (TPPU). Police line was visible at the luxury home following the search, during which investigators confiscated gold bars, foreign currency, and cash with a total value of around Rp476 billion. All seized items will form part of the evidence in the investigation into the suspected corruption and money laundering offences. Officers were seen carrying the seized evidence from a tactical vehicle upon arrival at the Special Criminal Investigation Directorate (Ditreskrimsus) of the Jakarta Metropolitan Police. The asset seizure is part of the investigators’ efforts to trace the alleged flow of funds from the criminal acts currently under investigation.
