Police Seize Rp 67 Billion from Raids on de Clan Restaurant and Money Changer
JAKARTA — Police investigators have seized more than Rp 67 billion in cash from raids on the de Clan Signature restaurant and Koin Money Changer in the Cilandak area of South Jakarta. They also found a number of documents, electronic data, and mobile phones.
The raids on Wednesday (8/7/2026) were part of a joint investigation by the Special Criminal Investigation Directorate of the Polda Metro Jaya and the Corruption Eradication Task Force of the Indonesian National Police into cases of corruption and money laundering.
Head of the Police Corruption Eradication Task Force, Inspector General Totok Suharyanto, stated that the cash found at the two locations included various foreign currency denominations. At the de Club Signature restaurant, investigators discovered approximately 3.1 million Singapore dollars, 889.9 thousand US dollars, and Rp 259.1 million. ‘When converted, that amounts to almost Rp 60 billion,’ Totok said on Wednesday (8/7/2026).
At the second location, Koin Money Changer, the investigative team found around Rp 7.2 billion in cash. ‘There were about 71 pieces of evidence, including 16 foreign currencies,’ Totok added.
Totok confirmed that all the cash and evidence are currently in the custody of investigators and stored at the Polda Metro Jaya. He noted that the searches were not limited to the two locations. Investigators conducted raids at 12 separate sites throughout Wednesday.
Kabid Humas Polda Metro Jaya, Commissioner Budi Hermanto, explained that the 12 search locations included the de Clan Signature restaurant, Koin Money Changer, PT CBS in East Cengkareng, PT CBS in Penjaringan, and PT KNI in Central Jakarta. Other sites included the residence of MN in North Serpong, the residence of TK in Mega Kuningan, South Jakarta, and the DMG Group office in Kuningan, South Jakarta.
Searches were also carried out at PT PML in Karet Kuningan, the residence of DR in South Gandaria, the residence of MILDK at the Pacific Place Apartment, and a house in the Sentul area of Bogor, West Java. Budi stated that the search process at several locations is still ongoing.
