The West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Regional Police have seized IDR 2.8 billion in a narcotics case involving the former Head of Bima City Police, AKBP Didik Putra Kuncoro, and the Head of the Narcotics Unit, AKP Malaungi.

“In the case involving suspects AKP M (Malaungi) and AKBP DPK (Didik Putra Kuncoro), the total amount is IDR 2.8 billion,” said the Director of Narcotics at the NTB Regional Police, Kombes Roman Smaradhana Elhaj, during a press conference on Thursday (26/2/2026).

Roman revealed that Malaungi received the money from two drug dealers, namely Boy and Koko Erwin. The details are as follows: IDR 1.8 billion from Boy and IDR 1 billion from Koko Erwin.

Malaungi received the IDR 1.8 billion from Boy between June and November 2025. Meanwhile, the IDR 1 billion from Koko Erwin was received in December 2025. The billions of rupiah were deposited into accounts under other people’s names.

The money from Boy, according to Roman, was received in cash by Malaungi. The money was then handed over to Didik. Didik then deposited the money into an account under another person’s name.

Meanwhile, the money from Koko Erwin was transferred to an account controlled by Malaungi. After being deposited, Malaungi withdrew the money to give it to Didik.

Malaungi and Didik have now been named as suspects by the NTB Regional Police’s Narcotics Directorate, as well as Koko Erwin. Malaungi is being detained at the NTB Regional Police, while Didik is being detained by the Criminal Investigation Agency (Bareskrim) of the National Police in connection with a case of methamphetamine and psychotropic drug possession. “KE is still being pursued,” explained Roman.
