Bareskrim Polri has seized several assets belonging to the wife and two children of drug lord Koh Erwin, alias Erwin Iskandar. Director of Narcotics Crimes at Bareskrim Polri, Brigadier General Eko Hadi Santoso, stated that the seizure was carried out by investigators as part of the probe into money laundering derived from the sale of illegal narcotics. “Assets seized from the three suspects include a house, a shophouse, a warehouse, motor vehicles, and various related documents,” he told reporters on Friday (24/4). Eko explained that the arrests were conducted by a joint team led by Deputy Head of Subdirectorate IV, Commissioner Handik Zusen, and Head of NIC Task Force, Commissioner Kevin Leleury. The three were apprehended in the Sumbawa and Mataram areas of West Nusa Tenggara (NTB). The suspects are Virda Virginia Pahlevi, Koh Erwin’s wife, and Hadi Sumarho Iskandar and Christina Aurelia, his children. “This relates to a money laundering case connected to the illicit narcotics distribution business run by drug lord Erwin Iskandar alias Koh Erwin,” he clarified. He added that the three are currently undergoing intensive examination at NTB Provincial Police Headquarters. They are scheduled to be flown to Jakarta this afternoon. “More detailed information will be provided after the initial examination of the three suspects is complete,” he concluded. Previously, Bareskrim Polri had arrested KE alias Koh Erwin, the drug lord who supplied both money and drugs to former Bima City Police Chief AKBP Didik Putra Kuncoro. Erwin was captured while fleeing via an illegal sea route to Malaysia from Tanjung Balai, North Sumatra. He reportedly resisted arrest and had to be subdued by officers. Koh Erwin’s network is known to have paid Rp1 billion to Didik through his subordinate, AKP Malaungi, the Head of Narcotics Unit at Bima City Police Resort. The money was received by Didik between June and November 2025. Didik has since been dismissed dishonourably from the National Police and is being held at Bareskrim Polri’s detention centre.
