Police Seize Evidence Worth Rp476 Billion from Safe in Sentul Home

Police seized a quantity of cash and 74 kilograms of gold bars valued at Rp476 billion during a search of a house in the Parahyangan Golf 2 complex in Sentul, Bogor Regency, West Java, on Wednesday (8/7). The evidence was found in seven suitcases stored inside a locked safe hidden behind a wooden panel. The search is believed to be connected to investigations into corruption, money laundering, and bribery related to coal and Asabri cases. The Directorate of Special Criminal Investigation of the Metro Jaya Regional Police and the Corruption Eradication Task Force of the National Police searched a total of 12 locations, from Cipete in South Jakarta to Sentul, on Wednesday (8/7).
