Police seize 15 kg of drug

UJUNGPANDANG, South Sulawesi: The police seized 15 kilograms of marijuana from a drug trafficking syndicate here yesterday.

Two of the alleged syndicate members were arrested during a raid yesterday, said Col. Kohar, chief detective of the South and Southeast Sulawesi police command.

The suspects admitted to police investigators they obtained the marijuana from several drug traffickers in Jakarta, Kohar said.

The police said they believe the drug trafficking ring in major cities obtain marijuana from Aceh. (20)
