Police Seal Shops in Parung, Bogor Over Suspected Illegal Prescription Drug Sales

The action was taken due to the dangerous public health impact of illegal drugs being distributed without proper prescriptions. “This operation reflects collaboration between government officials, the military and police, village heads, religious leaders, youth groups, and the community to combat illegal drug distribution in Parung,” he stated. Authorities will crack down strictly on illegal prescription drug distribution and urged the public to report similar activities. “Police urge the public to remain actively involved in reporting illegal drug sales or other public order disturbances in their vicinity,” he concluded.
