Police Rule Out Shooting in BGN Office Glass Breakage, Cite Extreme Heat
Jakarta Metropolitan Police have confirmed that the shattering of a glass panel at the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) office was not the result of a shooting. Inafis personnel were deployed to examine the scene on Thursday, where police tape cordoned off the area near the car park where the glass fell. The upper-floor window showed significant cracking and a small hole. Central Jakarta Police Chief Commissioner Reynold EP Hutagalung stated that the damage was likely caused by the recent extreme hot weather, a phenomenon that often occurs during the dry season.
