Police Rotation: Kombes Putu Kholis Appointed Bekasi City Metro Police Chief

The Indonesian National Police (Polri) has once again rotated a number of mid-ranking (pamen) and high-ranking (pati) officers. One of the positions affected is the Chief of the Bekasi City Metro Police. In a telegram numbered ST/1335/VI/KEP./2026, dated 25 June 2026, several pamen and pati were transferred. Within the Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Regional Police (Polda Metro Jaya), mutations occurred in several police chief and bureau head positions. The Bekasi City Metro Police Chief, previously held by Kombes Kusumo Wahyu Bintoro, has now been entrusted to Kombes Putu Kholis Aryana. Kombes Kusumo has been transferred to a new position as Kabagsumda Rorenmin Baintelkam Polri. ‘Kombes Pol Putu Kholis Aryana, Malang City Police Chief of the East Java Regional Police, has been appointed to the new position of Bekasi City Metro Police Chief of the Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Regional Police,’ the telegram stated. To fill the vacancy of the Malang City Police Chief, the National Police Chief has appointed AKBP Danang Setiyo Pambudi Sukarno. AKBP Danang previously served as Deputy Director of General Criminal Investigation for the Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Regional Police. Besides the Bekasi City Metro Police Chief, mutations were also carried out in the West Java Regional Police (Polda Jabar). Tasikmalaya Police Chief AKBP Wahyu Pristha Utama was transferred and replaced by AKBP Ade Papa Rihi, who previously served as Salatiga Police Chief. The Salatiga Police Chief position is now held by AKBP Jonathan David Harianthono, who previously served as Mempawah Police Chief of the West Kalimantan Regional Police. To replace AKBP Jonathan David at the Mempawah Police, the National Police Chief appointed AKBP Ade Chandra Papa Yanto.
