Police Rotation: Aceh and Southwest Papua Police Chiefs Replaced

National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo has carried out a rotation within the National Police force. A number of regional police chiefs and deputy chiefs have been replaced. The rotation is detailed in National Police Chief Telegram Number ST/1335/VI/KEP./2026. The following is a list of the replaced regional police chiefs and deputy chiefs: 1. Brigadier General Ruddi Setiawan has been appointed as the Aceh Police Chief, replacing Inspector General Marzuki Ali Basyah, who is entering retirement. 2. Brigadier General Yulius Audie Sonny Latuheru has been appointed as the Southwest Papua Police Chief, replacing Brigadier General Gatot Haribowo, who is entering retirement. 3. Brigadier General Iwan Saktiadi has been appointed as the Banten Deputy Police Chief, replacing Brigadier General Hendra Wirawan, who is now assigned as the Head of the Career Development Bureau for the National Police Human Resources Staff. 4. Brigadier General Arif Budiman has been appointed as the Maluku Deputy Police Chief, replacing Brigadier General Imam Thobroni, who will become a Principal Police Auditor Level I at the National Police General Inspectorate. 5. Senior Commissioner Fernando Sanches Napitupulu has been appointed as the Southwest Papua Deputy Police Chief, replacing Senior Commissioner Semmy Ronny Thabaa, who will serve as a Principal Police Instructor Level II at the Police Education and Training Institute’s Staff and Leadership School.
