Police Reveal Influencer Used 'Whip Pink' to Seek 'High', Who Is It?
Jakarta, VIVA – The Directorate of Narcotics Criminal Investigation (Dittipidnarkoba) of the Indonesian National Police (Polri) revealed that an influencer with the initials APG used the ‘Whip Pink’ brand of N2O gas to seek a euphoric ‘high’.
“That’s correct, the suspicion is that it was for seeking a ‘high’. A ‘fly’ sensation,” said the Head of Sub-Unit III of the Dittipidnarkoba Polri, AKBP Al Rasyidin Fajri, when confirmed in Jakarta on Thursday morning.
‘Fly’ or ‘Ngefly’ is a slang term often used to describe a state of euphoria or a feeling of lightness caused by certain substances.
Meanwhile, on Wednesday evening, June 3rd, Fajri said that by using the product, APG experienced certain effects such as feeling calm and a sense of happiness.
Fajri said that this information was obtained by investigators after examining APG as a witness in the development of the ‘Whip Pink’ producer case.
During the examination, Fajri said, APG admitted to using ‘Whip Pink’ since September 2025 and stopped in January 2026.
“APG also admitted to having purchased ‘Whip Pink’ 15 times and stated that he experienced euphoric (high) effects when using the product,” he said.
He also said that the examination of consumers as witnesses was to investigate the effects of using ‘Whip Pink’ on a person.
Previously, the Dittipidnarkoba Polri summoned five people as witnesses in the development of the ‘Whip Pink’ brand N2O gas producer case, namely: RV (29, North Jakarta), AM (29, Tangerang), CD (29, Jakarta), APG (21, Makassar) and ZNM (20, Makassar).
In April 2026, the Dittipidnarkoba Polri successfully uncovered the existence of a factory producing ‘Whip Pink’ brand N2O gas in Jakarta.
From the interrogation, nine witnesses who were arrested, PT SSS as the producer, did not have the legality and distribution permit from BPOM (the Indonesian Food and Drug Authority) regarding the production and sale of ‘Whip Pink’ N2O gas products.
In addition, the owners of the production location and the ‘Whip Pink’ distribution warehouse are AH, SC, and JH.
The ‘Whip Pink’ warehouse is located in 10 cities with a total of 16 warehouse locations ranging from Jakarta, DI Yogyakarta to Lombok.
‘Whip Pink’ is a brand of small gas cylinders containing nitrous oxide or dinitrogen oxide (N2O), also known as ‘laughing gas’. (Ant)
