Police have arrested a woman named Ledy Dwanty Naema Koen and two men named Krisantus Nomleni and Gelbeth Juliana Yunus, suspected of stealing hand-drawn batik cloth valued at Rp 1.3 billion from JCC Senayan. All three have been named suspects and charged under Article 477 of the Criminal Code.

“This is a case of aggravated theft,” said Head of the Criminal Investigation Unit at Tanah Abang Police Sector AKP Ikhsan Rangga in a statement on Monday (16/2/2026).

The victim initially reported the theft on Wednesday (4/2). As a result of the incident, the victim suffered losses amounting to Rp 1.3 billion.

“It began on Wednesday, 4 February 2026, at approximately 13.00 Western Indonesian Time, when the victim came to Tanah Abang Police Sector to report a criminal act of theft that was discovered to have occurred on Wednesday, 4 February 2026, at approximately 08.00 Western Indonesian Time. As a result of the incident, the victim suffered losses of Rp 1,376,000,000,” he said.

After receiving the report, officers immediately proceeded to the location and reviewed CCTV footage. All three suspects were identified and arrested on Thursday (12/2) at separate locations.

“With the evidence from CCTV recordings, Criminal Investigation Unit officers conducted an investigation into the vehicles and suspects. Subsequently, on Thursday, 12 February 2026, at approximately 02.00 Western Indonesian Time, Criminal Investigation Unit officers led by the Unit Head carried out the arrest of the three suspects at different locations,” he said.

He stated that officers went to suspect Ledy’s residence in Bekasi City and successfully located the stolen goods. He explained that Ledy was apprehended based on information provided by her husband.

“However, suspect Ledy Dwanty Naema Koen was not present at the location. Her husband subsequently informed officers of her whereabouts, and based on his directions, suspect Ledy Dwanty Naema Koen was successfully apprehended,” he said.

Meanwhile, the two other suspects, Krisantus and Gelbeth, were arrested not far from Ledy’s residence. All three suspects were then taken to Tanah Abang Police Sector.

“Subsequently, suspect Ledy Dwanty Naema Koen informed officers about the two other suspects who were at Yayasan Embun Kasih in Bekasi, located not far from her residence. Shortly afterwards, the two suspects named Krisantus Nomleni and Gelbeth Juliana Yunus were apprehended along with evidence consisting of batik clothing and batik materials from the theft. All three suspects and the evidence were then taken to Tanah Abang Police Sector,” he said.
