Jakarta — The Commission for Accelerated Police Reform, established by President Prabowo Subianto, has completed its report.

Jimly Asshiddiqie, chairman of the Commission for Accelerated Police Reform, revealed that the committee’s report has been compiled into 10 books to be submitted to Prabowo. The meeting between Prabowo and the Commission for Accelerated Police Reform is currently being scheduled.

“The State Secretary and the Cabinet Secretary will arrange it, and we are aiming for it to be completed before Eid. Well, because the President is very busy at the moment,” Jimly said at the Presidential Palace Complex in Jakarta on Thursday, 5 March 2026.

“Approximately eight Police Regulations and 24 Police Instructions need to be revised so they can serve as a foundation for conducting continuous internal reform over the long term,” Jimly stated.

Meanwhile, the Coordinating Minister for Law, Human Rights, Immigration and Correctional Affairs, Yusril Ihza Mahendra, revealed that the Commission for Accelerated Police Reform has completed its report consisting of thousands of pages.

The findings from the Commission for Accelerated Police Reform will be submitted to President Prabowo Subianto.

“Those three pages are genuinely the conclusion, and the 16 pages constitute a summary of all the work and findings of the Commission for Accelerated Police Reform,” Yusril said in a video statement, reported by ANTARA on Saturday, 7 March 2026.

After the report is submitted to Prabowo, the Commission for Accelerated Police Reform will present recommendations regarding improvements to the national police institution.

The final plenary session, Yusril clarified, took place several days ago and produced the final conclusions of the Commission for Accelerated Police Reform’s work.

Yusril stated that all books and documents relating to the recommendations to be submitted to Prabowo have been printed and bound.
