Police recruit dies during test

PALU, Central Sulawesi: A police recruit collapsed and died
while taking a physical admission test to enter State Police
School (SPN) in West Palu recently.

Adj. Sr. Comr. Victor Batara, the spokesman of the Central
Sulawesi provincial police, said that Gunawan, 20, fell
unconscious during some physical training drills. He was rushed
to the hospital, but died en route, according to Victor.

Police investigators are still looking into the incident. --
