Police raid two houses in Donggala

PALU, Central Sulawesi: Police officers raided two houses in Tulo subdistrict, Donggala regency, some 12 kilometers south of Palu, after receiving a tip that those responsible for the recent murder of a Christian minister were hiding in the houses.

Central Sulawesi Police chief Brig. Gen. Taufik Ridha said on Friday that during the raids on Thursday, officers found three compact discs containing speeches by Osama bin Laden in one of the houses.

Police are questioning the owners of the two houses.

The raids were conducted following the murder of minister Susianti Tinulele, who was killed on Sunday while delivering a sermon at Effata Church in Palu. -- JP
