He explained that the arrest began when operational unit members received information from the public about the circulation of dangerous drugs (List G) in the area around Tanjung Priok Port, North Jakarta, and surrounding areas. He said the suspect’s capture followed observations by the operational team in Rawa Badak Ward, Tugu Utara Ward, and Kebon Bawang Ward, North Jakarta. The team then discovered a cosmetics shop, Toko Bahari, located on Jalan Bakti, Kebon Bawang. The shop was found selling hundreds of dangerous List G drug pills. From the raid, officers secured evidence including 272 excimer pills, 209 tramadol pills, 121 trihexyphenidyl pills, and 121 alprazolam pills. In addition to seizing the dangerous drugs, the police also secured one unit and Rp1.5 million in cash. He added that the suspect AW acted as the seller of List G drugs to the public. “The suspect and the evidence have been brought to the Tanjung Priok Port Resort Police for further investigation and prosecution,” he said.
