Police Raid Illegal Pharmaceutical Drug Warehouse in Cirebon
REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, CIREBON – A covert operation conducted by the Narcotics Unit of the Cirebon Police Resort has successfully uncovered the circulation of unauthorised hard drugs. Police raided a rented house that had been turned into a den for storing thousands of dangerous hard drug tablets. During the raid, police arrested a man with the initials RA alias OKI (29). The suspect, a resident of Dukupuntang Village, was apprehended without resistance in a rented house within the jurisdiction of the Cirebon Police Resort. Through a dramatic search, police managed to seize a massive amount of evidence hidden by the suspect inside a television box. Among them were 3,300 Tramadol tablets, 3,950 Trihexyphenidyl tablets, Rp 2,200,000 in cash suspected to be the proceeds of illicit transactions, a mobile phone used for transaction communications, and a television box used to deceive officers. “We will not give any leeway to dealers of hard drugs that damage the young generation in Cirebon. A total of 7,250 dangerous drug tablets have been secured before they could circulate widely in society,” stated Cirebon Police Chief, Kombes Pol Imara Utama, yesterday.
