Police raided a hoarding site for subsidised diesel fuel in Kramatwatu, Serang Regency. The site has now been cordoned off with police tape to prevent further illegal activities from occurring.

Kramatwatu Police Chief, from Serang City Police, Kompol Bai Ma’mun, explained that the police raided the location in the Pejaten area of Kramatwatu on Sunday (5/4). Officers discovered a tank for storing illegal diesel at the site and then erected police lines around the area.

“The purpose of erecting the police lines is to secure the scene and prevent any further unlawful activities, as well as serving as an initial step in the police’s further investigation process,” said Bai on Monday (6/4/2026).

Bai stated that when police arrived at the location, there was no longer any hoarding activity taking place. There were also no workers or owners of the hoarding site present.

“Based on the results in the field, the erection of police lines was carried out safely and smoothly. Upon inspection, no activities were found at the location, and the diesel fuel that was previously suspected to be there was also not found,” he said.

“Polsek Kramatwatu of Serang City Police will continue to monitor and investigate this case to ensure that no similar practices occur in the jurisdiction of Polsek Kramatwatu,” he added.

Meanwhile, the Head of Criminal Investigation at Serang City Police, Kompol Alfano Ramadhan, stated that the police are still investigating the case. Officers are currently examining witnesses suspected of knowing about the illegal activities.

“When the team arrived, everything was empty, so we cordoned off the site with police lines and are questioning witnesses in the vicinity. (The owner) is being further investigated,” he said.
