Police conducted patrols in the Cileungsi district of Bogor, West Java. They raided a nightlife venue (THM) that was still open during Ramadan.

‘During the patrol, officers found a nightlife venue that was still operating during the holy month of Ramadan,’ said Cileungsi Police Chief Kompol Edison on Thursday (5 March 2026).

He said the patrols and raids had been ongoing since the start of Ramadan. The THM found open was located in the Desa Cileungsi Kidul area.

‘Officers immediately checked inside the location. From the inspection, officers found a number of patrons and employees inside the nightlife venue,’ he said.

Moreover, he added, some of the visitors were under 18. The visitors and staff were brought to the police station for data collection and further checks.

‘The officers then carried out urine tests on all those detained,’ he said.

The results showed that all the visitors and staff tested negative for narcotics. They were given guidance to ensure they do not repeat the offence, especially during Ramadan.

‘After the data collection and guidance process was completed, all visitors and employees were released,’ he concluded.
