Police conducted a crime scene investigation on Tuesday afternoon at the boarding house of Yuvita Tri Rezeki, the victim of assault and unlawful confinement by her boyfriend Taufik Hidayat, located in Gang Masjid, Cijambe Village, Cinunuk, Cileunyi District, Bandung Regency, West Java. A number of items were seized as evidence following the investigation. Members of the West Java Police Inafis (Automatic Fingerprint Identification System) unit arrived at around 12:00 WIB to examine the area of the boarding house occupied by the victim Yuvita and her boyfriend Taufik Hidayat. Local residents gathered at a distance to observe the crime scene processing. Police officers, along with local officials, secured the area. The boarding house keeper and other residents were also seen waiting during the investigation. The crime scene investigation lasted approximately two hours and was witnessed by local officials, including the neighbourhood and community unit heads, as well as the boarding house owner. Afterwards, several items of evidence were placed into bags carried by the Inafis team to be taken to police headquarters. Additionally, the boarding house occupied by the victim was sealed with police line, including the access road in front of the property. Personal items secured included a helmet, headset, bag, and other personal belongings of the victim and the perpetrator.
