Police Process Crime Scene in Sutrimo Death Case, Send Evidence to Forensic Lab

Police have taken a number of items of evidence from the crime scene investigation at the Mordent Clinic in Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, related to the death of a man named Sutrimo. The crime scene investigation on Monday (27/7) was conducted from 1.10pm WIB and concluded at 2.13pm WIB. Following the investigation, an officer was seen carrying three brown paper packages believed to contain evidence. After the crime scene processing, the police also placed a police line on the fence and entrance of the beauty clinic. Ipda Robby Pasha, Head of the Sub-Unit for Mobile Investigation at the South Jakarta Police, stated that the evidence would subsequently be taken to the Forensic Laboratory Centre for examination. However, Robby did not disclose what specific items of evidence were secured from the location and would be examined. “(Taken to) the Forensic Lab,” Robby said. Sutrimo died on Thursday (23/7). He was found unconscious in the yard of the Mordent Clinic and was then taken to Muhammadiyah Taman Puring Hospital by ambulance. “The hospital explained that Sutrimo arrived already deceased,” said the Head of Public Relations for the Metro Jaya Police, Commissioner Budi Hermanto, in a written statement on Sunday (26/7). Budi said investigators are currently gathering statements and conducting clarifications with the family, the ambulance driver, hospital staff, and other parties who have knowledge of the incident. “Medical records, the ambulance booking history, the initial location where the deceased was found, as well as other related information are also being investigated,” he said. The victim is reportedly the household manager for Febrie Adriansyah, the former Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes at the Attorney General’s Office.
