Police are continuing to investigate the death of Nadya Dwi Ramadhany alias NDR, a 21-year-old student of the Bachelor of Education in Primary School Teacher Education (PGSD) at Universitas Mataram (Unram). The police said they were interviewing witnesses extensively and collecting CCTV footage from around the scene. ‘We are still delving into details,’ said the officer. ‘We called four people today. We are still probing, still collecting CCTV footage.’ Police have processed the crime scene at the boarding house in Gomong, Selaparang District, Mataram City, where NDR was found dead on Monday (18/5). Officers also seized items such as a roll of cable and a fan from the boarding room. ‘We are still checking whether they were used as weapons in the killing or not,’ said the officer. As previously reported, NDR was found dead in her boarding room on Sunday (17/5). The student from Desa Beru, Jereweh District, Sumbawa Regency, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), is strongly suspected to have been a homicide victim. ‘Based on initial investigations, including the autopsy results we have received, there are indications pointing to elements of a criminal offence,’ said Selaparang Police Chief Iptu Zulharman Lutfi on Tuesday. Currently, the ongoing handling of the case has been transferred to the Satreskrim of Polresta Mataram. Meanwhile, NDR’s body has been handed over to her family.
