Police Prepare One-Way Traffic Scheme for 17 August at Puncak, Bogor

Police are preparing traffic management measures for 17 August 2026 on Jalan Raya Puncak, Bogor, West Java. The scheme being prepared is a one-way system.

“On 17 August, which also coincides with a national public holiday, we will still implement the one-way traffic scheme,” said Bogor Police Traffic Unit Head AKP Afif Widhi Ananto on Saturday (15/8/2026).

He explained that in the morning, the one-way system will be applied from the direction of Jakarta towards Puncak. Meanwhile, the one-way system from Puncak towards Jakarta will be applied in the afternoon.

“In the morning from the direction of Jakarta towards Puncak, while the one-way system in the opposite direction will be in the afternoon,” he said.

Meanwhile, Afif said the odd-even scheme will not yet be applied. The traffic management being implemented for now is only the one-way system.

“For now, the odd-even scheme has not been applied,” he stated.

Afif urged members of the public heading to Puncak to pay attention to the condition of their vehicles. He also asked the public to always monitor the timing of the one-way traffic scheme.

“Because public interest in travelling to the Puncak route tends to increase, they must prepare their vehicles in prime condition,” he said.

“In addition, please monitor our social media accounts at the Bogor Police Traffic Unit to make use of the traffic management we are implementing,” he added.
