Police Personnel Shuffle: Irjen Djati Appointed as West Sumatra Police Chief, Brigjen Agus as North Kalimantan Police Chief

The personnel reshuffle is detailed in Telegram Letter No. ST/960/V/KEP/2026 from the Chief of Police regarding dismissals from and appointments to positions within the Polri. The letter, dated 7 May 2026, was signed by Irjen Anwar, Assistant Chief of Police for Human Resources. As viewed by detikcom on Saturday (9/5/2026), the position of West Sumatra Police Chief is now held by Irjen Djati Wiyoto Abadhy. Irjen Djati replaces Irjen Gatot Tri Suryanta, who has been reassigned as a high-ranking officer at the Polri Education and Training Command. Prior to this, Irjen Djati served as the North Kalimantan Police Chief. Meanwhile, the North Kalimantan Police Chief position is now held by Brigjen Agus Wijayanto, who previously served as the Head of the Professional Development and Welfare Division in the Polri Security Division.
