Police ordered to realse suspect

TANGERANG: The Tangerang District Court ordered the Tiga
Raksa Police on Wednesday to release a suspect who was arrested
without a warrant.

Judge Suhartoyo said the police could not make any arrests
without a warrant as stipulated in Article 21 of the Criminal
Code.

The Tiga Raksa Subdistrict Police arrested Encin, 35, a
resident in Pesangrahan village, Cisoka district of Tangerang on
Aug. 22 after he was questioned following complaints filed by a
neighbor, H. Ebo, over his alleged "unpleasant deeds".

Since the arrest was made without a warrant, Encin's family
filed a suit against the police at the district court on Sept.
