The Indonesian National Police (Polri) has stated that the possibility of examining the Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus), Febrie Adriansyah, remains open as investigators from the Corruption Eradication Task Force (Kortastipidkor) continue to probe three major cases. These cases involve alleged corruption in the coal sector, the management of funds at PT ASABRI, and the procurement of goods at PT Krakatau Steel. Investigators have not yet set a schedule for the summons, as the investigation is still evolving.

Kabid Humas Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol. Budi Hermanto, said the investigative team is still examining the technical aspects and material of the cases before determining which parties will be asked to provide testimony. “The investigation process is ongoing. The team is continuing to deepen the inquiry, so the timing of the summons and the progress of the case will be conveyed at the appropriate time,” Budi stated during a press conference at Polda Metro Jaya on Friday (10/7).

He also emphasised that the identities of suspects in the case, which is being handled through a joint investigation between the Kortastipidkor Polri and Polda Metro Jaya, will be announced in the near future. “Not tonight, but in the near future we will announce who the suspects are in this case,” he said.

Budi expressed confidence that all ministries and institutions support the anti-corruption efforts, which are a priority of President Prabowo Subianto’s administration. “We are confident that all ministries and institutions will synergise and collaborate to resolve corruption cases,” he added.

Previously, investigators conducted searches at several locations in South Jakarta and Bogor related to the three cases. During these searches, police seized various pieces of evidence, including gold bars, foreign currency, and electronic devices, which are currently being analysed for the purposes of the investigation.
